The Reactive Approach to Productivity

Most of us knowingly or unknowingly carry out the reactive approach. The reactive approach to productivity is responding to a crisis or an issue as it comes.

This happens because we fail to plan for the unexpected. In some cases, we simply fail to plan, and everything that happens becomes unexpected.

This is a dangerous approach. It leaves us vulnerable to unexpected results and in turn, causes a lot of stress and anxiety.

People who are reactive, usually wait for something terrible to happen and often make situations even worse for themselves. The reactive approach destroys any scope for improvement or growth as you only make changes when the situation becomes worse.

Needless to say that the proactive approach is better suited if you want to be super productive.

By analyzing facts and signals, you can expect if something is going to happen. You can then prepare a plan to tackle such situations.

This approach makes you calm and ready for anything that comes your way. Whenever something is going to happen, you don’t need to rush to the drawing table to figure out your next course of action.

The proactive approach empowers you to improve and grow in your life and career continually. It also makes you a master of handling unexpected situations as you learn to stay calm.
